Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew productivity, coordinate hiring decisions with management, and enforce safety protocols on job sites. You will mentor workers and troubleshoot routine site issues while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role emphasizes field training, OSHA-compliant safety enforcement, record-keeping, and efficient operation of personnel and equipment to ensure timely, quality work.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently without close supervision.
• Must safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight limit: not to exceed ~300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after receiving orders from a General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new/revised job units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies and conducts safety training.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners and coordinates with customers.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports of work performed.
• Controls crew costs and ensures efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed and incidents to management.
