Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, train staff, and enforce safety standards on job sites. You will coordinate work with management, manage training, and mentor crew members to ensure high productivity and quality outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to field conditions while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to adjust to field requirements and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after order receipt.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and work scope with property owners; refer complex issues.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of people and equipment.
• Furnishes reports of completed orders and incidents to supervisors.
• Cooperates with customers, authorities, and emergency services as needed.
