Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols, and mentor crew members on essential tasks. The role emphasizes field leadership, customer relations, and adherence to safety standards.

The Foreperson will manage scheduling, training, and reports, ensuring efficient use of personnel and equipment while maintaining high standards of performance and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Able to adapt to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and scope with property owners; refers complex cases up to General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through successful completion of tasks and professional conduct.
