Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with safety standards on job sites. The role includes field training, coordinating with management, and maintaining strong customer relations.

The candidate will manage crew performance, monitor equipment, and prepare reports while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. A CDL and field leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Able to adjust to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Due to equipment capacity, the weight of the employee should not exceed approximately 300 pounds.
• Must have no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining and instructs crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per company policies and OSHA requirements.
• Discusses access, power interruption, work scope, and property damage with the customer; refers complex cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of assigned work and appropriate crew behavior.
• Investigates minor incident reports or damage claims when delegated and settles simple cases.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and crew operation reports.
