Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, ensuring productivity and safety on the job site. You will coordinate training, monitor performance, and mentor crew members while communicating with management on schedules and recruiting needs.

The role emphasizes safety adherence, customer relations, and efficient use of personnel and equipment. A CDL and field experience in line clearance are required, with competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and work independently.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• CDL license is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA requirements, and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners/customers; refers complex issues to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports; manages crew costs and resource use.
• Furnishes supervisors with completed orders, units of work, crew time, and minor damage reports.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
