Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to coordinate daily crew work, train employees, and enforce safety standards at job sites. You will interact with property owners, manage access and work scope, and ensure OSHA-compliant practices are followed.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a CDL and field experience in line clearance preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in field conditions.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight up to ~300 pounds; no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners/customers; refers issues.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through timely completion.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew performance reports.
• Controls crew costs, manpower, methods, and equipment use.
• Furnishes reports of completed orders and crew activity.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire when blocking streets.
