Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dependable Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, assign work, and enforce safety policies while coordinating with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read drawings and symbols for lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work independently in field conditions.
• CDL license is required.
• Able to operate or work with hands above head.
• Weight limit about 300 pounds; no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for the crew.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access and work with property owners/customers; refers complex cases.
• Obtains oral or written permission to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through completed work and conduct.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage claims when delegated.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and resource use.
• Furnishes reports to supervisor on orders completed and time used.
• Occasionally reports incidents, breakdowns, and actions taken.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags to protect crew and public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, equipment.
• Maintains housekeeping on truck and work location.
• Responsible for DOT maintenance and inspection on vehicles.
