Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate field tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards on job sites. You will work closely with management to determine hiring needs, schedule work, and mentor crew members.

The role requires CDL, strong leadership, and the ability to manage field activities, with responsibilities spanning safety enforcement, training, and customer coordination.

Qualifications

• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Capable of working independently with field requirements.
• Valid CDL and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for crew after orders from a supervisor.
• Provides field training and retraining to crew on new or revised units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy; conducts safety training.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners and coordinates with customers.
• Maintains accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports; tracks units of work.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets; sets up safety barriers.
