Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, and ensure safety compliance in field environments. You will mentor staff, interact with customers, and manage records while maintaining efficiency and quality of service.

This full-time role requires CDL, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work in outdoor settings with variable conditions. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Understand drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, and line equipment.
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Stay organized and multitask in field settings.
• Take independent action with minimal supervision.
• Possess a valid CDL and drive company vehicles safely.
• Able to work with equipment overhead and heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on jobs.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA rules.
• Communicates with property owners about access and work.
• Obtains permissions from owners to perform work.
• Fosters good customer relations and reports crew activity.
• May investigate minor damage and settle small claims.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
• Provides reports to foreperson and utility reps; coordinates incidents.
