Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily field operations, coordinating crew tasks and ensuring safety compliance. You will work closely with management on hiring needs and scheduling while mentoring crew members and maintaining productive customer relations.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires CDL and the ability to travel for storm work; you will oversee tool/equipment maintenance and report on crew performance to optimize daily outcomes.

Qualifications

• Understands drawings and symbols for lines and voltages.
• Excellent communication and leadership required.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safety practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, work scope, and property concerns with customers; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work; maintains good public relations.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance; controls costs.
