Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinate tasks with management, and ensure safety compliance on job sites. You will mentor crew members, train staff, and communicate with property owners to coordinate access and scope of work.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational ability, and a valid CDL. You will supervise field crews, monitor performance, and deliver reports while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in field conditions.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards.
• Discusses access and work scope with property owners/ customers and refers complex cases to supervision.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and productivity, equipment use, and safety.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed and incidents to management.
