Job summary

Twining Consulting, Inc. in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to coordinate inspector and technician schedules, manage equipment and sample pickups, and maintain certification records.

This role supports daily field operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dispatching or scheduling experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dispatching, scheduling coordination, logistics coordination, or related experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
• Experience with dispatching/ scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch inspectors, technicians, and field personnel based on certifications and project needs.
• Coordinate daily scheduling activities and respond to changes and urgent requests.
• Handle a high volume of calls, emails, and dispatch requests daily.
• Coordinate field testing equipment deliveries and pickups.
• Coordinate material sample pickups and transportation logistics.
• Maintain scheduling records in company software systems.
• Communicate staffing availability and scheduling updates to project managers and clients.
• Assist with recruitment, interview coordination, and onboarding for new staff.
• Maintain inspector certifications, licenses, training records, and compliance docs.
• Track equipment inventory and allocation for projects.
• Support coverage planning and resource allocation for staffing needs.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
