Job summary

Henke Industrial is seeking a highly experienced, field-oriented Director of Operations to lead our heavy industrial service teams. This boots-on-the-ground role concentrates on field deployments, including turnkey equipment relocation, millwright and rigging services, heavy-haul logistics, and facility lifecycle work.

You will oversee complex machinery moves, manage craft labor and supervisory crews, enforce rigorous safety programs, and develop project estimates and SOWs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior operations or project management in industrial contracting or heavy-haul logistics.
• Proven track record estimating and executing field-based projects.
• Deep knowledge of rigging, cranes, and heavy transport equipment.
• Strong financial acumen with project-based P&L, bidding, and resource allocation.
• OSHA and DOT compliance expertise.
• Exceptional leadership managing craft labor and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field-deployed projects including heavy equipment relocation and turnkey installations.
• Develop accurate estimates, SOWs, and execution plans.
• Lead, mentor, and allocate riggers, operators, millwrights, and field supervisors.
• Act as primary operations contact for clients and manage change orders.
• Coordinate OS/OW freight logistics and site sequencing.
