Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a site-based construction professional to coordinate field operations at the Phoenix project site. You will manage scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication to ensure safety and alignment with drawings and specifications.

You will also oversee subcontractors, maintain project schedules, prepare daily and quality reports, and assist with progress reporting and contract-related documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and official project records.
• Take progress photographs and label them for reference.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.

Education
