Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a site-based professional to support construction operations at a project site in Phoenix, Arizona. This role collaborates with the site construction lead to coordinate scheduling, reporting, and quality control, while managing subcontractor activities and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining project records, ensuring use of the latest drawings, and assisting the Project Construction Manager with progress reporting and contract administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedules, escalate delays, prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports, and manage on-site records.
