Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to lead education for academic and community oncology accounts. This field-based role focuses on hematologic and solid tumor education, patient management, and collaboration with sales, marketing, and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required; Master’s preferred.
• Current active healthcare professional license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied health professionals on therapies and patient management.
• Develop customized educational plans from account insights.
• Educate on disease states, dosing and adverse event management.
• Present education at internal meetings and external conferences.
• Provide staff support at exhibit booths and events.
• Collaborate across oncology teams (sales, marketing, clinical ops).
• Document interactions and manage allocated resources.
