Job summary
AbbVie Oncology is seeking a Senior Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively educate allied health care professionals on product use, dosing, and patient management across approved therapies. This field-based role requires travel and close collaboration with sales, clinical operations, and medical teams.
You will develop customized education plans, deliver trainings, and support the internal sales team with clinical insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
- Current active HCP license.
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology preferred.
- Experience in academic or community oncology practice with Hem/Onc patients.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and related skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and drive as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead education across oncology accounts with approved resources.
- Develop customized education plans from account dynamics.
- Educate clinicians on patient identification and therapy roles.
- Explain administration requirements and adverse event management.
- Deliver 1:1 presentations and participate in meetings.
- Document interactions and manage allocated resources.
