Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking a field-based Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with allied healthcare professionals, delivering product and disease education for patient management across approved therapies. You will focus on ongoing education about dosing, administration, and side-effect management while partnering with field teams to extend education coverage.

The role requires 7+ years in clinical oncology/hematology, a nursing/NP/PA/PharmD background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience.
• Recent hematology experience; multiple myeloma preferred.
• Experience in academic or community oncology practice.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead education across oncology accounts with approved resources.
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics.
• Educate on therapy identification, dosing, administration and ADEs.
• Deliver 1:1 presentations and in-person/in-services at meetings.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations and medical teams.
• Document interactions and manage allocated resources.
