Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with allied health care professionals, provide product and disease education, and support patient management on approved therapies across Hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.

This field-based role covers South Florida including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, with travel up to 50%. You will develop education plans, train staff, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical operations to improve clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Current active HCP license
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent multiple myeloma preferred
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice with Hematology/Oncology patients
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic education leader across academic and community oncology accounts with approved resources
• Develop a customized educational plan via account dynamics and clinical insights
• Educate clinicians on patient identification and roles of therapies for hematologic and solid tumors
• Educate on preparation, administration, adverse event mitigation, and monitoring
• Educate patient care teams on initiation and management per product protocols
• Interpret and communicate clinical education topics to diverse audiences
• Provide disease state education on diagnostics and patient management
• Deliver education programs through 1:1 presentations and other approved formats
• Document customer interactions and educational activities; manage resources
