Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is hiring an Oncology Nurse Educator to lead clinical education for academic and community oncology accounts. The role focuses on disease education, therapy guidance, and patient management education for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.

You will develop tailored education plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support internal staff with clinical resources while traveling up to 50% of the time from a base in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with active license required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of clinical oncology/hematology experience, with recent hematology focus.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied healthcare professionals on disease education and therapy use.
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate on dosing, administration and adverse event management for therapies.
• Deliver 1:1 presentations and in-services as approved.
• Attend internal meetings and provide clinical information as needed.
• Support sales and clinical operations with training initiatives.
