Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse Educator to support allied health professionals with product and disease education across hematology and solid tumors. The role focuses on patient management, dosing, administration, and side-effect mitigation, with field-based duties and travel across assigned states.

The candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, and medical teams to enhance clinical training, education programs, and staff development, enabling impactful patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD is required.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology with Hematology/Oncology patients.
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate allied healthcare clinicians on patient identification and role of approved therapies.
• Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate on preparation and administration of approved products and adverse event management.
• Provide education programs through 1:1 presentations and other approved formats.
• Travel up to 50% and support across oncology accounts.
