Job summary
AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively engage with allied health professionals, delivering product and disease education across hematology and solid tumors. You will develop tailored education plans, support patient management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance clinical competencies.
The role is field-based, requiring travel up to 50% and residence near the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
- Current active HCP license.
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
- Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.
Responsibilities
- Educate allied healthcare clinicians on patient management, dosing and administration.
- Develop customized education plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
- Provide education programs through 1:1 presentations and other approved methods.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, clinical operations) to support Oncology.
- Document customer interactions and educational activities; manage resources.
