Job summary

Kinetic, a Uniti company, is seeking Network Technicians to support field operations across the United States. You will install, maintain, and repair network systems, including voice, data, transport, and video equipment, and perform post-install tests.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours in indoor and outdoor environments; safety training is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or 4+ years of directly related telephony experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems including voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment.
• Complete post-installation tests for call processing functionality and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office/Network equipment, card/SFP insertions, translations, fiber cross-connects and inside wiring activities.
• Perform OTDR tests and understand results.
• Fixed Wireless Installation & Maintenance.
• Safely operate and maintain clean and organized company service vehicle.
• Work in both inside and outside environments.
• Complete necessary safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
