Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. through its Kinetic unit seeks a Business Systems Technician to install and repair business communications services across the United States.

The role requires technical aptitude, driving capability, and the ability to work on both buried and aerial plant while adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a technical discipline and 3–4 years of related tech/telephony experience or 6+ years in telephony/network operations.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Requirement to complete safety training and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customer needs.
• Work on buried and aerial plant, including pole climbing and ladder work.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Work in inside and outside environments.
• Complete required safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
