Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and repair residential and business communications services across the United States. You will work with test equipment and a variety of technologies, climbing poles and ladders as needed, and operate the company vehicle safely while resolving customer needs.

The role requires basic technology and math skills, a valid driver's license, color-discrimination ability, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Must complete required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to provide service of multiple technologies and designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Work inside and outside environments and follow safety standards.
