Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Network Technician to install, maintain and repair telecom network systems across our field operations in the United States. You will handle voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment, performing tests and coordinating with central offices.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or 4+ years related telephony experience.
• Ability to perform OTDR tests and understand results.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems.
• Complete post-install tests for call processing and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office / Network equipment and fiber cross-connects.
• Perform OTDR tests and interpret results.
• Provide stand-by and on-call coverage.
• Maintain safety standards and complete required safety training.
