Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Network Technician to join our field operations, connecting homeowners, small businesses, and partners nationwide. You will perform installation, maintenance, and testing of network systems, coordinate equipment, and ensure safety while driving company vehicles.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and basic tech skills; two-year technical degree or related experience is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site role based in Paulding, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge in telecom hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems (voice, data, transport, video).
• Complete post-install tests for call processing and AMA testing.
• Coordinate network equipment insertions and fiber cross-connects.
• Perform OTDR tests and interpret results.
• Operate safely and maintain company vehicle; work indoors and outdoors.
