Qualifications

• Must have cable telecommunications experience; at least 15 months in the field.
• Experience installing and maintaining residential cable services and related equipment.
• Strong reading of diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and restores video, CHSI, and CDV services from plant to customer.
• Performs surveys, locates, splices, and replaces components as needed.
• Works with crew to install and maintain high-speed data and home networking.
• Maintains safety procedures and uses appropriate tools and equipment.
• Lifts and carries loads as required; works evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Completes paperwork and customer-facing communications after each job.
• Operates ladders and aerial lifts up to 18–20 feet when required.
