Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2) to deliver second-line technical support to clients on site and remotely from New York, NY. The role focuses on configuring, installing, testing infrastructure, troubleshooting, and coordinating with client environments and vendors to ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

• Moderate experience in networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Experience providing remote client support and on-site field support.
• Clear communication and proactive planning abilities.
• Professional networking certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNP, JNCIP, ACMP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
• Proactively identifies problems and errors as they occur and logs such incidents with detail.
• Liaises with client IT environments, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Provides second line remote and onsite technical support to clients.
• Follows handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity.
