Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry-level Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) to provide on-site technical support at client sites in Detroit, MI and Charlotte, NC. You will handle first-line incidents, perform routine configurations, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive resolution.

The role emphasizes strong communication, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to extend support hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computing or related field is required.
• Associate level certification in networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5) is preferred.
• Entry-level experience in networking and technical client support is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering to clients.
• Install, configure and verify client infrastructure per requirements.
• Log incidents with required details and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, carriers and colleagues to diagnose errors and resolve issues.
• Follow handover procedures to ensure service continuity.
