Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Center Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2) to provide second-line onsite and remote technical support for client environments, ensuring incidents are resolved promptly and SLAs met. This is a hybrid role at customer sites.

You will deploy and maintain data center networking infrastructure, troubleshoot Nexus and MDS switching, log incidents, and coordinate with client IT teams and vendors to drive timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Professional data center certifications such as CCNP DC or ONTAP.
• Moderate experience building, deploying and supporting data center networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client site infrastructure is configured, installed, tested and operational.
• Install and configure software as part of the solution per client requirements.
• Identify problems and log incidents with required details.
• Liaise with client IT, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
• Investigate second line incidents to identify root causes using knowledge articles.
• Respond to alerts and escalate to L3 when needed.
• Update incidents with progress and resolution details in the system.
• Provide second line remote and onsite technical support and field engineering.
• Escalate to 3rd party vendors when necessary.
• Follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure continuity.
