Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Network Sales Engineer to connect customers with EtherWAN solutions. You will support field engagements, train customers, and design network solutions while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with a BS in CS/Engineering and vendor certifications. The role includes travel up to 65% and participation in industry events.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
• Understanding IT vs OT networking environments.
• CCNA or equivalent certifications.
• Networking certifications are a plus.
• Strong organization and project management.
• Willingness to travel up to 65%.
• Proficient with CRM, Visio, and MS Office.
• Industry knowledge in transportation, security, energy or process automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist stakeholders by conducting EtherWAN product introductions and communicating value propositions.
• Project manage field engagements with sales resources.
• Engage with prospects, partners, and customers in field activities.
• Develop training materials for Networking trainings and EtherWAN Academy.
• Conduct network audits and design recommendations for EtherWAN products.
• Perform client environment simulations to test feasibility of EtherWAN solutions.
• Cross-reference third‑party products with EtherWAN offerings.
• Monitor industry trends and inform internal teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries about EtherWAN products and applications.
• Log technical support cases in CRM and coordinate with cross‑department teams.
• Research and author technical and industry papers as assigned.
• Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
• Travel as required to support accounts.
