Job summary

Sage seeks a Network Cabling Project Manager to oversee planning, installation, and maintenance of network cabling systems. You will lead external contractor teams, ensuring projects run on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This is a heavily traveled, client-facing role with an expectation of domestic travel. You will coordinate with IT, engineers, and vendors and manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and perform cabling work over 75% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in network cabling, infrastructure design, or related field.
• Proven experience in managing network cabling installation projects, including team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of network cabling projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with IT departments, engineers, and vendors to define project scope and requirements.
• Develop detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables with clear expectations.
• Lead on-site teams of cabling technicians and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality.
• Oversee testing and certification of cabling systems to meet performance requirements.
