Job summary

Sage is seeking a Network Cabling Project Manager to oversee planning, installation, and maintenance of network cabling. You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while leading external contractor teams across multiple communities domestically.

This heavily travelled, client-facing role requires coordinating with IT, engineers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Excellent PM and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and perform cabling work over 75% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in network cabling or related field.
• Proven experience leading network cabling installation projects and teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of network cabling projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead design and implementation of cabling layouts, adhering to industry standards (TIA/EIA-568, ANSI/BICSI).
• Travel to communities domestically and coordinate on-site teams of cabling technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across projects; coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, and regular status reporting.
