Job summary

COX FLEET is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-mid repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will document work on RO via TRAIT app using an iOS device and manage parts on a company service truck.

Requirements include HS diploma/GED, ASE T8 within 18 months, valid DOT medical card, and 21+ years old. Employers offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience.
Own a set of hand tools to perform required duties.
ASE T8 certification (PMI) within 18 months of hire.
Must meet DOT/FMCSA regulations and pass DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy trucks and trailers in a mobile/field setting.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, transmission and related systems.
Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders via the TRAIT iOS app.
Maintain and operate the service truck, conduct safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
