Job summary

Cox Fleet in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Mobile Diesel & Trailer Technician to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs in a mobile setting. You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, with support for advanced diagnostics under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT medical card plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT medical card must be valid with ≥4 months remaining.
• Valid state driver’s license and Driver Qualification File.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light–heavy vehicles in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck and trailer systems including electrical and hydraulics.
• Maintain company service truck and parts inventory; document work on Repair Orders.
• Communicate with management to obtain approvals and schedule repairs.
