Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, routine PMs, and repairs in a mobile/field setting across the U.S. The role will require you to travel 100% and maintain a company service truck and tools.

Benefits include 401(k) matching and health coverage; a $5000 new hire bonus is offered. A valid DOT medical card and ASE certifications are preferred, with ASE T8 and related trainings supported within 18 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience or 5 years in related field.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems, and driveline components.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and inventory parts on service truck and document RO in TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms and other required documentation promptly.
