Job summary

Golden State Water Company in California is seeking a Field Customer Service Specialist to ensure reliable resolution of field service requests, meter reading issues, and billing accuracy. You will work with CSA staff, review daily read exceptions, and coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot meter problems.

You will monitor performance via reports, train staff on key applications, and help maintain customer service standards across field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Five years of experience in field operations or customer service, with meter-to-cash experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support of CSA staff training and schedule adherence for meter reads.
• Reviews meter read exceptions and field backlog for timely resolution.
• Ensures CC&B updates for meter reads and field activities are complete in a timely manner.
• Investigates and resolves meter discrepancies related to large meters and AMR communication to ensure accurate billing.
• Supports training for meter readers and CSA field staff.
• Assists in audit and reporting functions for field customer service performance.
