Job summary

Golden State Water Company seeks a Field Customer Service Specialist to support meter reading, field operations, and customer service processes. You will work with CC&B, Itron, and other systems to resolve service requests and ensure accurate billing.

This role emphasizes training CSA staff, QA checks, and collaboration with field technicians to maintain high service standards. A strong detail orientation and communication skill are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with meter-to-cash processes or utility systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Field Customer Service Supervisor.
• Review meter read exceptions and field activity backlogs for timely resolution.
• Validate completion of daily meter read worklists and field activity updates in CC&B.
• Research and resolve meter discrepancies to ensure accurate billing.
• Assist with meter changes and adding meters to CC&B Inventory.
• Support training for CSA field staff and customer service applications.
• Investigate and resolve customer escalations related to meter reading and service issues.
