Golden State Water Company is seeking a Field Customer Service Specialist to ensure timely resolution of field service requests and meter-related issues. You will support meter reading, data validation, and billing accuracy while coordinating with CSA staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Five years’ experience in field operations or customer service with meter-to-cash knowledge, preferably in water utility.
• D1 water certification within 12 months of employment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to learn Company billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Field Customer Service Supervisor.
• Review meter read exceptions and field activity backlogs for timely resolution.
• Ensure timely completion of daily worklists and CC&B updates.
• Research and resolve large meter configuration and AMR-related issues to ensure accurate billing.
• Add new meters to CC&B and complete meter changes accurately.
• Assist in training CSA field staff and troubleshoot service issues with vendors.
