Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Specialist to ensure timely resolution of field customer service requests, meter reading issues, and related billing impacts. You will use CS Online portals, CC&B, KloudGin and Itron systems to resolve backlogs and improve service delivery.

The role requires five years in field operations or customer service, a high school diploma (associates preferred), and the ability to train staff. Certification and strong analytical skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Five years of experience in field ops or customer service with meter-to-cash exposure.
• Completion of D1 water certification within 12 months.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn billing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and independent.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to Field Customer Service Supervisor.
• Review meter read exceptions and field activity backlogs for timely resolution.
• Validate timely completion of daily worklists in CC&B.
• Investigate and resolve meter discrepancies affecting billing.
• Assist in training field staff on customer service applications.
• Support audits, reporting and resolution of CPUC informal complaints.
• Coordinate with vendors on meter reading and field services.
