Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership in your local market through in-person, field-based outreach. You’ll spend ~95% of time in the field meeting small business owners, driving membership and revenue while representing NFIB’s mission.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face field sales experience or ownership/leadership background is preferred.
• Ability to cold-call and build rapport with small business owners.
• Fast learner with a proven sales process and training.
• Comfort representing NFIB and educating on advocacy in DC and state capitals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect in-person meetings with small business owners in your market.
• Master and deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation.
• Close new members and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on NFIB advocacy and rights protections.
