National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking a Membership Sales Representative for a hybrid role. You’ll spend ~95% of time in the field, meeting with small business owners to grow NFIB membership.

This hunter/closer role offers structured sales processes, uncapped earnings, and comprehensive benefits as a W-2 employee. Top performers come from diverse backgrounds; prior sales experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• In-person prospecting with small business owners.
• Deliver a concise 5-minute sales presentation.
• Build rapport and clearly communicate NFIB’s mission.
• Handle objections and close memberships in one visit.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting)
• Deliver NFIB’s proven, 5-minute sales presentation with confidence, authenticity, and urgency
• Build fast rapport and communicate NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit
• Process membership payments on the spot
