Job summary

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking in-field Membership Sales Representatives to connect with small business owners and invite them into a national movement advocating on their behalf. You’ll travel locally, meet owners face-to-face, and present NFIB’s value in a confident, compelling manner.

As a hunter/closer, you’ll earn through commissions with full benefits, training pay, and performance-based bonuses, with average earnings around $80,000–$200,000 and a top tier

Qualifications

• Sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to present NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly.
• Comfort with field-based, face-to-face interactions.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s proven, 5-minute sales presentation with confidence, authenticity, and urgency.
• Build fast rapport and communicate NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
