Job summary

NFIB seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow membership through field-based engagement with small business owners. This hunter/closer role emphasizes a self-directed schedule, travel in your market, and a high-velocity sales cycle.

You will present our proven membership model, enroll new members, and explain NFIB’s advocacy efforts in DC and state capitals. A strong track record in sales and relationship building is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct face-to-face meetings and build rapport.
• Willingness to learn and apply a structured sales model.
• Motivation to advocate for small business owners nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a 5-minute sales presentation.
• The Close: enroll new members and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protection of rights at federal and state levels.
