Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a Materials Coordinator to coordinate materials management for field construction. The role covers receipt, inspection, put away, storage, kitting, and safe distribution of project materials for construction activities.

The candidate will manage on-site material QA/QC, liaise with project managers, engineering staff, suppliers, and construction teams, and oversee inventory accuracy, yard safety, and data input in the inventory system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 3 years' experience managing materials for a warehouse or lay-down yard; EPC projects in electric power delivery.
• Understanding of receiving, counts, inspections, storage, and issuance of material.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inventory is handled and stored safely according to requirements and specs.
• Receives, counts, inspects materials; reconciles discrepancies (QA/QC, overage, shortage, damage).
• Directs placement and distribution of materials/equipment to trucks for safe transport to sites.
• Resolves material-related questions by coordinating with PMs, engineering, suppliers, and construction teams.
• Manages QA/QC receiving and issuing to ensure safe, timely receipt and issue of materials.
• Plans phase bundling, structure staging, and kitting to streamline materials.
