Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee sourcing, procurement, logistics, and on-site contractor management for our energy infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes implementing best practices, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring materials align with schedules.

Responsibilities include material take-offs, forecasting, and ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and inventory control across construction sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in construction/EPC.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages material management best practices with client.
• Works with local vendors to expedite material requests.
• Coordinates with procurement to ensure materials meet schedules and are delivered on time.
• Performs material take-offs with customer, engineering, project management and construction teams.
• Manages lead times and forecasted material needs for project schedules.
• Interfaces with vendors to ensure timely shipments and delivery to site.
• Executes material receiving, storage, and inventory control per project needs.
• Oversees warehouse layout and inventory accuracy in the inventory system.
