Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support the Williams Aquila Project in Eagle Mountain, Utah. This field-based role involves coordinating material receipt, inspection, put-away, storage, kitting, and distribution to construction sites.

You will manage QA/QC receiving, inventory accuracy, and realtime reporting in our systems, while aligning with project managers and suppliers to resolve material issues and ensure safe, timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 3 years’ experience managing materials for a warehouse or lay-down yard; with at least 1 year of EPC projects within the electric power delivery sector.
• Understanding of receiving processes related to physical counts, inspections, inventory, storage, and issuance of material.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certified Forklift Operator 8K– 55K telescoping lifts (Lull) and skid-steers to lift, move, or place equipment or materials; or the ability to obtain this certification soon upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all inventory is handled and stored safely, according to requirements and engineering specifications.
• Manages receiving, counting, and inspection of materials delivered to construction site/warehouse/lay-down yard; reconciles discrepancies (QA/QC, overage, shortage, damage).
• Directs placement and distribution of materials/equipment onto trucks to ensure safe transport to/from sites.
• Coordinates between project managers, engineering staff, suppliers, fabricators, construction teams, and project controls to resolve material issues.
• Performs on-site material audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
