Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) for the Off Premise channel to expand distribution across grocery, convenience, and liquor stores within your territory. You will partner with retailers to grow market share and promote our diverse spirits portfolio.

You will build relationships, lead in-store initiatives, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with wholesalers and internal teams to deliver volume and distribution goals across core brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new college graduates, a sales internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods).
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Crafting Solutions for Growth: Implement and manage solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands soar in market share.
• Brand Building: Use consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges, and drive sales growth.
• Distribution: Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Volume Objectives: Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in the portfolio.
• Strategic Programs: Implement programs that improve distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotions.
• Rapport Building: Develop mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers by understanding their needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• KPI Monitoring: Track KPIs to ensure goals are met.
