Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Certified Labs Outside Sales Representative for the Moline, IL territory. You will own the territory, drive lubrication excellence for industrial plants and partners, and use hands-on demonstrations and strong selling systems to win new business.

You will make 15+ in-person calls daily, carry a 40 lb demo bag, and maintain Salesforce records while collaborating with internal teams. Base salary $50,000 with commissions, with first-year earnings typically $70,000–$100,000,

Qualifications

• Field-based and requires daily travel within the assigned territory.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday driving between locations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to carry a 40 lb demo bag daily.
• Self-starter with history of exceeding sales targets.
• Outstanding presentation and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute 15+ high-impact, in-person sales calls daily.
• Carry and present a 40 lb sales demo bag with live samples and visual aids.
• Follow the structured Sales Bag Progression to uncover needs and close deals on the spot.
• Write 40+ orders per month with focus on high-volume products.
• Build and maintain a minimum of 200 active accounts purchasing 10+ SKUs.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Key Account teams on calls and contract execution.
• Deliver annual Value Advantage reports quantifying cost savings and ROI.
• Perform disciplined Friday PM Planning and keep Salesforce records.
